We are excited to announce that Community Enrichment programs will now be managed by the Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL). ALL is a volunteer-driven organization open to people of all ages, dedicated to fostering educational and enrichment experiences throughout northeast Michigan. With a mission to provide educational programs and social activities that cover a broad range of topics, ALL strives to offer intellectually stimulating opportunities that benefit individuals and the community. Located on the Alpena Community College campus in Alpena, Michigan, ALL is perfectly positioned to continue and expand upon the legacy of community enrichment in the region.
Founded in 1998 as an organization for individuals aged 50 and older, the Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL) has since evolved into a nonprofit that encourages lifelong educational and enrichment experiences for people of all ages in northeast Michigan. Recognizing the value of intergenerational interaction, which has become less common in today’s culture, ALL now welcomes adults of all ages and actively promotes intergenerational activities. To accommodate younger, working adults, evening classes have been added, ensuring broader program access. The Association remains committed to fostering a love of lifelong learning that transcends age boundaries.
