Stay Connected with ACC Through Mongoose
ACC is happy to introduce Mongoose as our new texting platform to send helpful text messages to students about important deadlines, events, enrollment information, and other updates!
Mongoose is another way that students can stay up-to-date on everything at ACC. Text messages may include reminders about upcoming deadlines, registration and enrollment information, events, and other information that may be helpful to you as an ACC student.
What Can I Get Through Mongoose?
Depending on your student status and what information is relevant to you, you may receive texts about:

Campus events and activities

Important student updates

Reminders and other time-sensitive information
Message frequency will vary depending on your student status and activity.
Is Mongoose Required?
No. Signing up for text messages is optional and is not required to apply to, enroll at, or attend ACC.
Mongoose is simply another way for ACC to keep you informed and make it easier to stay on top of important information.
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You are responsible for any charges associated with receiving text messages, including data, messaging, or roaming charges.
SMS messages may not be available through all mobile carriers.
Managing Your Text Messages
You can stop receiving Mongoose text messages at any time by replying STOP.
You can also text HELP for assistance.
Please note that opting out will stop future text communications from ACC through Mongoose, including certain event reminders or other updates you may otherwise receive. You can re-subscribe if you choose to receive text messages again.
Your Privacy
Your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages are used to deliver the SMS communications described when you opt in.
ACC does not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in information or consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
ACC may share this information with trusted service providers that help deliver SMS messages, such as messaging platform providers. These providers may use the information only to provide SMS delivery and related support services.
