The Lumberjack Legends Athletics Hall of Fame celebrates the student-athletes, coaches, teams, and athletic leaders whose accomplishments have shaped the proud tradition of Alpena Community College athletics.
Each fall, ACC recognizes individuals and teams whose achievements, leadership, and lasting impact have left an enduring legacy on the college and its athletic programs. Their stories inspire current and future Lumberjacks while preserving the rich history of ACC athletics.
2025 Lumberjack Legends
The 2025 Lumberjack Legends Athletics Hall of Fame class continues Alpena Community College's tradition of recognizing the individuals and teams who have made extraordinary contributions to Lumberjack athletics.
This year's class includes outstanding student-athletes, coaches, an athletic administrator, and the longtime voice of ACC athletics. Together, they represent decades of excellence, leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication that have helped shape the college's athletic legacy.

- Bobby Allen – Men's Basketball (1989–1991); Men's Basketball Coach (1994–Present)
- Karina Cole – Women's Basketball (2014–2016)
- Lisa Dahm Moore – Softball (2002–2004)
- Nathan Tuori – Men's Basketball (1994–1996)
- Ralph Diethelm – Voice of the Lumberjacks (1954–1981)
- Keith Jackson – Men's Basketball (1974–1976)
- 1979–1981 Women's Basketball Teams – Eastern Conference Champions and Regional Runner-Up
Honoring a Lasting Legacy
The 2025 class reflects the remarkable individuals and teams whose talent, commitment, and leadership have strengthened the tradition of Lumberjack athletics for generations. From championship teams and standout student-athletes to influential coaches and dedicated supporters, each honoree has left an enduring mark on Alpena Community College.
Among this year's inductees are the 1979–1981 Women's Basketball Teams, whose success helped elevate women's athletics at ACC. Their back-to-back Eastern Conference championships and regional runner-up finish established a standard of excellence that continues to inspire future Lumberjacks.
These inductees now join the growing ranks of Lumberjack Legends whose accomplishments will be celebrated and preserved as part of Alpena Community College's athletic history.
Inaugural Class – 2024
The first class of Lumberjack Legends was inducted on September 7, 2024, marking the beginning of a new tradition honoring athletic excellence at Alpena Community College.
The inaugural class featured five ACC athletes who earned NJCAA All-American recognition—including an NJCAA national champion in swimming—along with the legendary 1966 Men's Basketball Team, Region 12 Champions and participants in the National Junior College Championship Tournament.
The class also honored Coach Jim Dutcher, whose leadership helped establish ACC's athletic legacy before continuing an outstanding collegiate coaching career at Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Minnesota.

- John Stosick – Swimming, NJCAA National Champion (200-meter backstroke), NJCAA Runner-up (100-meter backstroke), 1968
- Alonzo Weatherly – Men's Basketball, NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American, 1979
- Diana Flakes – Women's Basketball, NJCAA Second Team All-American, 1981
- Jimmie Holliday – Men's Basketball, NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American, 1987
- Josh Walker – Men's Basketball, NJCAA Third Team All-American, 2003
- 1966 Men's Basketball Team – Region 12 Champions and National Tournament Qualifier
