Scramble for Students

About the Scramble for StudentsGolfer Putting

Since 1996, the Alpena Community College Foundation has conducted its annual Scramble for Students, raising more than $450,000 and providing hundreds of students with much-needed scholarships. In 2004, the tournament was renamed to memorialize a good friend, community leader, and ACC Foundation Trustee, Robert M. Granum. During his time on the ACC Foundation Board of Trustees, Bob freely gave his financial expertise and greatly contributed to its growth. The Scramble takes place every summer at the River's Edge Golf Club. The tournament is a 4-person best ball scramble where golfers of all skill levels can enjoy themselves.
