Advanced Placement

Alpena Community College accepts credit from the Advanced Placement (AP) program. ACC will evaluate AP grade reports received from the College Board and will award appropriate course credit for selected AP examinations. Minimum score requirements vary from course to course.

Advanced Placement (AP) Credit PolicyThe Advanced Placement Program (AP) provides the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement and earn college credit by examination.

ACC will evaluate AP grade reports received from the College Board, and will award course credit for selected AP examinations according to the following credit policy.

A maximum of 30 semester hours may be applied toward the Associate Degree from sources other than credit earned in college courses.
